After The Wedding Guide

Congratulations on your wedding, all of us here at Michael J. Photography are excited that you included us in your wedding day. I wanted to take a few minutes and talk about what happens next now that we have captured your wedding images. 

 

Within about two weeks (depending on season and workload) we will have your images processed and ready to be posted on our website for you to preview.  The on-line gallery will be available for 45 days from the date that they are posted, after 45 days the gallery will expire and there will be a $ 50 charge to repost the gallery. Once the gallery is on-line you, your family and friends can place orders for images from your wedding.

 

After the proofs are delivered we will start the album design process, because each album is laid out by hand this is a very time intensive process so depending on the season and the workload please expect the initial design process to take between 3 to 6 weeks. Once the initial design is completed you will review the design and make any changes to the design. You are allowed up to 5 design changes at no charge after 5 changes there is a design fee for each additional change, a detailed list of the charges are below. 

 

Album Design Change Charges : 

 

Adding a picture to a page, swapping pictures on a page, changing the layout of a page all count as design changes, after the included changes are made each additional change will be billed at $ 25 per change.

 

All albums are designed as a square coffee table style book with no gutter between the pages, if you desire a different format such as a vertical book, you must inform Michael J.Photography of that choice before the album design process starts, which would be within 30 days of your wedding. If you change formats (from vertical to square or square to vertical) after the album design has begun there will be a $ 250 charge for the redesign and it will be treated as a new design and be put into the design que behind the existing design jobs, so the 3 to 6 week clock will start over. 

 

Once you approve the album design, select your cover material, complete the album approval form and pay any deposits necessary your album will be submitted for printing and binding, depending on the manufacturer of the album, season and workload it will be approximately 4 to 8 weeks to receive your beautiful custom album.
